Linear regression is one of the most fundamental concepts in data analytics and machine learning. Simple Linear Regression: Involves one independent variable to predict a dependent variable (e.g., predicting sales based on advertising spend).
y = mx + c (m = Slope, c = Intercept)
Multiple Linear Regression: Involves two or more independent variables to make predictions (e.g., predicting house prices based on square footage, location, and number of bedrooms).
y = b0 + b1x1 + b2x2 + ..... + bixi (b0 = Intercept)
